Lincoln Builders is proud to have partnered with the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) to bring The Hub to life—a dynamic new student union that redefines the heart of campus life. Completed in August 2022, this 23,000-square-foot, two-story facility serves as a modern gathering space for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
Strategically located at the intersection of University Avenue and Northeast Drive, The Hub offers seating for over 600 and houses six diverse dining options, including Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Subway, Flip Kitchen, Bento Sushi, and a fresh market. Designed by Tipton Associates, the building features expansive glass curtain walls, collaborative study zones, and a rooftop terrace, creating an inviting atmosphere for both social interaction and focused study.
The $11.6 million project was made possible through a public-private partnership with Aramark, which contributed $6 million, complemented by student facilities fees. Despite challenges, including a pandemic-related delay, Lincoln Builders delivered the project on time and within budget, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and innovation in educational construction.
The Hub not only enhances the student experience at ULM but also stands as a testament to Lincoln Builders' dedication to constructing spaces that foster community, collaboration, and growth.
